The September 11th Anniversary Benefit Fund has had a Commemorative coin struck to honor and remember the events of September 11th, 2001 and the sacrifices made by the members of the FDNY on that historic day.

All of the funds raised through the sale of this coin will be used to support the activities of three charitable organizations;

The W5 Firefighters World Trade Center Memorial Fund, which maintains a WTC monument in Orange County NY and presents college scholarships to high school graduates.

The FDNY Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12033, who have been steadfast supporters of the rehabilitation of disabled veterans from Brooke, Walter Reed and Bethesda Hospitals and have assisted the widows and orphans of disabled and needy veterans and promoted Americanism through education in patriotism and service to the community of New York City.
